There will be ten weekly online open qualifies running from April 13th to June 16th, with a $1,000,000 on the line for eligible* players. The top 100 solo players and the top 50 duo teams will then compete at the world cup finals in New York on July 26th-28th with its own $30,000,000 prize pool on offer. Each player will be guaranteed $50,000 for just reaching the finals and the solo world cup winner will walk home with a $3,000,000 top prize.
The world cup won’t herald the end for Fortnite’s competitive schedule as Epic Games will continue to back tournaments with $1,000,0000 in cash prizes right through the remainder of 2019.
